Baby Namings

Dear Rabbi Tiwy,

I want to thank you for Benjamin’s baby naming. The naming and welcoming of Benjamin into our Jewish community and faith was a very profound and positive experience for my family and me. Thank you so much for making it possible.

With love & thanks, Erin B.

Dear Rabbi Tiwy,

Bar/Bat Mitzvahs

Dear Rabbi,

We would like to thank you for your time, support, and encouragement as you worked with Scott to prepare his d’var Torah for his bar mitzvah.

It was a wonderful experience to see Scott’s confidence and ability to speak and chant Hebrew grow and flourish. To see Scott overcome everything he had to deal with last year and see him accomplish what he did on the bimah was truly a proud and special moment in our lives.

Thank you for all of your time and advice which was instrumental helping Scott be so successful on this journey. It is an experience we believe he will always remember.

Fondly, Wendy and Randy G.

Rabbi Tiwy,

Thank you for being a part of our children Rebekah and Daniel’s Jewish education. Thank you for caring and for making yourself available to questions they had.

With love, the C. family

Dear Rabbi Tiwy,

Our family would like to extend its heartfelt gratitude for the many gifts bestowed upon our family during Callie’s bat mitzvah journey.

Thank you for bringing the warmth, inclusion and levity that made the service relatable to everyone. The majority of our guests had no previous knowledge of what a bat mitzvah actually entailed. You were able to break down each part so that our guests felt connected to this special day.

We would also like to thank you for the encouragement, confidence building, and trust in Callie that she could do it way before Callie thought she could. You knew that the ball of nerves and tears she was only 24 hours prior would become the calm, confident and poised girl that stood on the bimah proudly the following day. Witnessing that was our greatest gift and one that we will treasure always.

Warmly, Jill and Scott R.

Special Anniversaries

To Rabbi Stefan Tiwy,

Many thanks for your kind words and birthday songs on my 90th birthday. It was very heartwarming, and I will always have a special memory of my special Shabbos birthday.

With great appreciation, thank you, Estelle Z.

Dear Rabbi Tiwy,

We are so happy to have met you. You, dear Rabbi, guided us and created a very meaningful Shabbat service when Marvin received an aliyah to the Torah, Parashat Lech L’cha, on the 70th anniversary of his bar mitzvah.

With our very warm wishes, Norma and Marvin P.

Funerals

Dear Rabbi Tiwy,

Thank you so much for your kind words and lovely prayer service. Your personal words about Richard were so appreciated at a time when our pain and sadness prevented us from speaking about his wonderful qualities out loud. You brought comfort to our family.

Warmest regards, Karen B.

Dear Rabbi Tiwy,

Sincere thanks for the beautiful service for Mort. We appreciate your kind words of comfort and the warmth you gave us. Good health to you and your dear ones.

Best, Mae R.
